I LOVE this place. Hands down the best egg drop soup ever. The customer service is always friendly and fast (the lady that works here, I'm assuming she's the owner, is always friendly). I have never had a bad experience here. I also love how meticulously they wrap their to go containers and make sure nothing spills. I ordered the lunch Kung Pao chicken, which came with fried rice and an egg roll, along with egg drop soup. I love that they put corn in their egg drop soup and that the soup has actual flavor. The Kung Pao was spicy but not too bad! Their menu prices are great especially for the quality of the food! I wish I could give them more than five stars!

Went back to try Skilman and there has been significant improvement. We ordered pepper steak, sesame chicken and chicken lo-mein. The food was fresh and really good. My son has a very sensitive stomach and any food that is even a bit questionable causes a reaction. Happy to say, he really enjoyed the food and had no reaction. So, there was a big improvement. And as usual, the order was hot and ready when promised and the counter provided friendly service.

We've ordered delivery from here twice, and both times have been delicious. The food arrived quickly and piping hot! The dishes we order usually have a lot of sauce, so the styrofoam containers are wrapped in syran wrap. We ordered 3 dishes most recently, one being Kung pao chicken. Can't remember the name of the other 2. They were all soooo good! My hubby's only complaint is they all had too many veggies, especially the celery in the Kung pao. I don't mind because I love veggies, and the price you pay for the amount of food you get is unreal. One plate can easily stretch to 3 meals for me. I'm not a fan of their style of crab rangoons. The shell is too thick in my opinion. I prefer a thin crispy shell. Also there was little to no crab, so more of a cream cheese rangoon instead. Overall I would definitely order from here again because I would love to try different dishes.

I was in Fort Worth for business and decided to lay low in my hotel room for lunch by ordering Chinese takeout to eat in the room. Since I did not know the area well I decided to query "Chinese takeout" on Waze and Skillman Wok was the closest one on my area. The name did not inspire me and I came in with low expectations of the place. Skillman Wok is located at the far end of a strip mall and would be quite easy to miss. However there appeared to be a sizable lunch crowd coming and going. The interior of the place is nothing worth noting. It is effectively a Chinese American takeout with several tables and chairs for those opting to dine inside. There is a table with with menus that appear to come from a boilerplate Chinese takeout template with only location and contact information the variables. The front counter looks like a post-COVID-19 era mess, with fingerprint-laden plexiglass still in place, various photos of menu items, disclaimers, and admonishments taped throughout. I ordered a House Fried Rice and Hot & Sour soup to-go. The prices are reasonable and the cashier behind the counter cheerful. I placed my order, was told to wait 10 minutes, and my order was ready on time. I took my order back to the room and it was certainly a lot of food for a little bit of money! The fried rice was cooked well and contained a generous amount of beef, chicken, pork, egg, and shrimp. The soup also has a good balance with ingredients and broth. There was also an egg roll which was a surprise. There was so much food that my lunch was also my dinner! Skillman Wok exceeded my expectations for a Chinese American takeout, and I'll certainly consider coming back whenever I find myself in the area again.

We needed a quick "Chinese food" place for dinner. My son has craved it the last week or so. There's a place behind our home but they're closed on Tuesdays...so we tried Skillman because it's near his school. This place did not disappoint! Super nice people when I walked in and plenty of tables to sit. I ordered our usual faves at any restaurant, chicken lo-neon, orange chicken which came with white rice and 2 egg rolls. A HUGE amount of food for $20! Easily feeds a family of 8 maybe? 6 at the least. Or leftovers for dinners/lunch a few days. Especially Amazing in this economy. I placed the order, picked up my kid from practice and drove back and my order was ready. We didn't eat until close to an hour later and the food was STILL smoky hot! They wrap it so well in the packaging! Very impressive! We WILL be ordering from Skillman from now on!! Thanks guys!! No pics...the kid was hungry.
